Hey,
I’m Ceri. It’s pronounced Kerry.
I grew up in Aberystwyth, where the grey tides hit the promenade hard enough to shake your ribs. The wind off the sea leaves a mark. South Wales is home now though. The hills are different, but the air still holds that old, half-heard promise that something waits nearby, invisible but present.
I write stories set in Wales, where the strange bleeds into the ordinary.
The Annwniad series starts with a question. What if werewolves had to clock in? What if the afterlife came with forms, policies, and a housing officer constantly dragged into other people’s supernatural problems? Hounds of Paperwork and The Unauthorised Haunting of Rhys Llywelyn belong to cozy fantasy. They are funny, warm, and full of small magical messes, hot tea, and paperwork that defies the laws of physics.
I also write romance and time-slip stories. Time Fall pulls a modern doctor into the medieval past and into the path of a knight. Whispers of the Past stays on the Welsh coast, where ancient curses refuse to sleep. When the story demands a wider scope, I write science fantasy. Accidental Immortal follows a lost traveller across an alien world.
You can find my books on Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers.
I keep my darker and more practical work separate. Under the name Ceri Clark, I write Zero Hour space horror and the Heinous History collection. That name also appears on A Simpler Guide to Gmail, and my large print stationery.
If you want updates, I send occasional notes about new releases, plus the odd memo from Annwn, under the guise of The Morrigan Department.
